The Des Montes Living Home was created by combining state-of-the art sustainable technologies with regional architectural forms. This residential home near Taos, NM, combines solar electricity, solar hot-water, rainwater collection, and integrated wastewater treatment into a home that is designed to reflect the regional historic and vernacular architecture.

With the use of energy and water modeling calculations, we created an integrated and elegant design while reducing overall energy and water use. The systems are tied in to standard energy and water systems, and are designed to function seamlessly based upon current conditions.
